Children In Need 1992 Barrell Pull

Fire crews from all watches at Blackburn and from other stations took part in this charity event covering Lancashire , Greater Manchester and Cheshire in a week long moving around of a beer barrel, and obviously as you can see involved having a drink in each of the hostelries visited . This idea came about from Chris Norse the Station commander and the manager of the Postal order pub, there were many more people that took part that are not shown in these photos but unfortunately these are the only ones we have, unless you have some did you take part or did you see us going past if you did please comment and send us photos if you have any .

I know that there were many others that helped in this venture but these are the only photos that I have , I did not make all the days when other towns were visited and so I can only apologise if your name isn’t here , if you were there pleases send me a comment I will make sure you are recognised and if you have any photos please send them to us
