Fundraising Children In Need 1999

Off- duty Blackburn Fire Crews foot-slogged around Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire in a week long-haul of beer kegs for charity, raising over £6000 for Children in need. The event culminated in a raffle prize draw at sponsor Weatherspoons “Postal Order” premises in Blackburn, prizes included a racing helmet donated by international motorcycle ace and Blackburn resident Carl Fogarty.
