Here we are in Liverpool at a converted church being used as the venue for the climbing section of the games, representing us here are Simon Rackley, Nigel Hodson and John . Watching are 2 others going on to enter other events Steve Horrocks winning a medal in the Chess, and Lynsey the boxing. Samantha will be in the Dragonboat race which you will find in a separate feature. One other from Blackburn was Steve Marsh not here who would do very well getting a medal in the swimming event. Simon was our best hope for a medal on the day but unfortunately the competition was too good. A very good day was had by all competitors and spectators.
