Its my old man bob
I think it’s Richard Petty with his back to back to us and Joe Walsh facing him and I cannot be 100% certain but I think the other looks like Bob Baron.
Thanks for that Jeff hope you’re well
Not too sure, but the other one could be Joe Walsh, he was leading fireman at that time.
Jeffrey Peacock thankyou so much for confirming this
Yes it is Mick Cooper, I am the one on the ground. The officer is Dick Petty.
Doesnt mention the other guy tho pal, but I know my old man was on blue watch so there is a possibility it could be him, cheers mate hope ur well
No problem mate there should be a bit of a write up with it but from memory the fireman on the floor is Jeff Peacock who suffered a broken leg at this job, luckily he recovered and carried on with Blue Watch Blackburn until he retired
Any old timers from 71 shed any light on this pic ? Bloke with hands on hips looks very much like my dad, late 60,s, Stephen Brown sorry pal nicked it off phoenix
