I think Marie is right about Bill Forrest he was Chief Fire Officer at the ROF and lived on Calder St Whalley Range he had two twin Daughters. I would just like to say I like the Simon Cowell trousers.
John says the engine at the back is the the Green Goddess and he thinks it could be Bill Forest, he was a fireman during the war,a full time fireman at the ROF Lower Darwen and a Sub Officer in the AFS with Ralph Mason also a Sub Officer in the early 60s until it disbanded
