From: PhotographsThis is from a fire red watch attended we believe in the 90’s it was a disused building just off whitebirk just behind some industrial units. This has been on fire many times , as you can see though Breathing apparatus has to be used because of the smoke.

The incident is early nineties, 91 or 92 looking at the kit, also Stu joined in the same year as me, 91
Spoke to my dad Dave Bowers. He thinks the incident is a derelict building behind Red Lion at Whitebirk about late 80’s. The firemen could be Stewart Hardacre & possibly Martin Biscombe.

I think It was the carpet warehouse on whitebirk Industrial estate 1986 !!20 Pumps !Divisional commander Hogans last job on duty ( fell over and broke his collar bone)
