Firefighter Get Together New And Old

A great night was had at the postal order on this evening , arranged by Gordon Mitchell and designed as  an introduction to some of the latest firefighters at Blackburn and some retired old characters , myself being one but also a great excuse for a get together of many old faces with one or two drinks over the night. The event attracted about 30 or so in total on the night and to a man it was hoped another summer do would follow, unfortunately although one was arranged it couldn’t go ahead because of the corona virus pandemic . Hopefully another one can be arranged sometime in the future
