Roman Road R.T.A. 1996

This incident was on Roman Road just under the motorway bridge before its opening . We were called to persons trapped but we didn’t know how badly until we got there .Two ladies mother and daughter were trapped in their car after being hit by a motorway wagon , to say they were lucky to still be with us is an understatement , the car was a wreck with just enough room for them to be safe. Straight away the guys jumped into action getting all the equipment off to assist in getting them out . It was a happy ending for them if not for the car
