Little Tich Blackburn's Last Steam Pump
From: ArticlesThis is a photograph of Blackburn’s last steam pump on the fire station yard, borrowed from Craig Fox and I grew up on Blackburn fire station yard. The pump was taken from Blackburn to its final resting place , Liverpool Museum where it still is today. What seems a long time ago now when I first started I was talking to one of the retired firemen Mr Len Wilkins who told me how he was one of those firemen that drove it down there.
