Flicking through some old photographs I came across this one. It was taken at a charity football match to mark my transfer from Training Centre to Blackburn in April 1999. I can’t remember the final score but I would like to think that the green and white hoops of Celtic were victorious! What I do remember is that it was great fun with a fantastic group of people, sadly some of whom are no longer with us. โ with Simon Eardley, Philip Whittaker, Aidan Fortune, Stephen Harrison, Ian Johnston, Stephen Docherty and Steven Wilson.
Peter Kelly I remember it well ๐ค great days and good people ๐
Philip Whittaker I remember this like it was yesterday!! Then into Chorley for a few beers!! Happy days with great people!!
Ian Johnston DidnโtโCelticโ bring a ringer in? He was retained and played for Chorley, I remember breaking a finger vainly trying to save a shot๐
