William Quinn is my paternal Grandmother’s father, so my Great Grandfather
My Grandma Holden, Agnes was extremely proud of him and often talked to me about. They lived in Brook Street which was right in front of the old fire station.
Nice that he is remembered.
William Quinn was my parental grandfather who sadly died before I was born.My dad James(Jimmy) was his son.I am pleased to have come across this info. Hopefully will be visting Darwen in September 2016.
