Driver Has Lucky Escape From Lorry Fire 1949

Mr George Cotton 4 Higher Audley St, Blackburn, was driving this lorry along Bolton Rd, Near the Empire Cinema, when his petrol tank fell off. Sparks began to fly, the tank was punctured, petrol blazed, and the front of the lorry was burned out. The driver jumped clear and was unhurt.
