Its great fun coming across these little adverts ,which bring back memories for myself and hopefully many others looking at this site , I actually got to drive one of these early in my career as Blackburn had a tendency to go through old fire engines quite quickly due to their very busy use , if I remember correctly red watch had the record for going through 12 vehicles in one tour of duty. It must be said that these vehicles had been very good over their lifetimes .
