Came across this site and was astonished to see the fire we were rescued from in 1970 was in there! I am alive 46 years later and so are my brother and three sistersr thanks to Firemen Joe Pickup, Edward Bury, Norman Halliwell and
PC O’Malley. I would loved to have thanked them for their rescue and bravery.
